Clean Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal

Oatmeal is so easy to whip up and incredibly filling! Not only that but the flavor possibilities are endless. This oatmeal was inspired by my girl @laurenirene1 on Instagram. She is incredibly creative with her oatmeal and other clean eats, so be sure to follow her for inspiration. This breakfast totally satisfied my sweet tooth while keep it 100% clean eating! I'm not going to lie- I have been very skeptical about adding egg whites to my oats. Something about it just doesn't sound right to me BUT keeping an open mind when combining different foods is key. You CANNOT taste the egg whites and adding them gives your oats a protein boost.

I know this picture looks like a big bowl of crap! But it is SOOO delicious and nutritious.

Recipe Rundown:

Inspired by Sweat the Sweet Stuff

Kitchen tools- measuring cups/spoons, small pot, mixing spoon.


1 cup chocolate almond milk- any milk of choice will work
1/2 cup whole oats
1.5 tablespoons Dark Chocolate Dreams Peanut Butter (Use code MCJ116 to get $5 off your first order from - If you don't have this peanut butter use regular peanut butter plus 1/2 tbs of cocoa powder.
2 tbs liquid egg whites
1/2 tbs chia seeds
1 banana- half of it mashed, the other half sliced
Liquid stevia to taste- or other sweetener of choice

1. Start bring milk to a boil over medium heat.

2. Once boiling add oats and peanut butter mixing till peanut butter is melted down.

3. Add the mashed banana, chia seeds, and a few drops of stevia. Right before the oats are done pour in the egg white- make sure to KEEP stirring once the egg whites are added so that they become full incorporated.

4. After liquid is absorbed pour into a bowl and top with sliced banana. Dig in and enjoy!!


  1. I think it actually looks pretty good! There's a dark chocolate and dried banana granola that I occasionally pick-up at WF, I'm sure this is a much better way to go. (btw, thanks for following on SimpleAwesomeCooking on IG)

  2. Thank you!! It is a very filling breakfast that's for sure. I love my granola with yogurt as well. I just picked up Love Grown Foods granola that I have been seeing on IG.
